Originally when I took over this community I intended to get rid of this role. As it never set right with me. I just don't like the idea of involving money. In my experience it always leads to someone feeling like they're owed more than others and I just want to completely avoid that moving forward. Also I feel the concept of having any sort of "vip" role goes against what AiA is about. AiA's about loners finding other loners to play Minecraft with. Popularity contestants and gloaters need not apply. So from here on forward all trusted community member will benefit from the same set of perks that the "benefactors" used to. which includes:
- The ability to chat in the in-game chat channels.
- The ability to use /disposal in-game to easily dispose of inventory junk.
- The ability to use /co i to inspect chest and block records.
- Indefinite AFK privileges.
If anyone is found abusing these perks beyond reasonable means of use. They'll be blacklisted from using them.
- Players who had benefactor role can retain the role. Leaving and re-joining server will forfeit the role.
- Nitro boosts are still appreciated but come with no added benefits other than a warm fuzzy feeling, contributing to server banners/URL, higher voice chat bit-rates the ability to use soundboards.
